Warren Hill

Warren Hill

Carlburg Stables is located on the Bury Road adjacent to the famous Limekilns, an area of grass gallops unrivalled anywhere in the world. Also just up the road is the Al Bahathri Polytrack gallop where we do the vast majority of our fast work.

Routine exercise takes place on a variety of all-weather tracks including Warren Hill, Long Hill, Bury Hill and Side Hill which are all within a 15minute walk of the stable.

The gallops are open seven days a week, twelve months a year with an experienced team of Heathmen working around the clock to keep the gallops in peak condition, whatever the weather.

No stretch of the turf gallops is used for more than one day a year, and much is used only once every two years, with fresh ground being provided each day as appropriate.
