The son of Cape Cross has run well all year and deserved this third career win.

He was drawn well in one and jockey Dane O'Neill was happy to take a lead.

Yarroom travelled strongly before kicking for home rounding the final bend. Once clear Dane kept him up to his work under hands and heels to win by a length and three quarters.

Roger said: "He has been suited by the step up to a mile and a quarter and Dane has given him a lovely ride."
