Flying form continues with a double on the day as KHK Racing’s ELDAR ELDAROV scores first time out in sumptuous style at Nottingham. Robert Barnett’s GOOD HUMOR completes the second leg of the double putting the race to bed in style at Kempton.

The Dubawi colt ELDAR ELDAROV put in a very pleasing debut under the talented David Egan in the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes this afternoon. Travelling powerfully up the home straight to take up the running, striding away inside the final furlong and finishing well on top at the line.

Congratulations to KHK Racing and connections. This exciting juvenile is a nicely-bred son of the Listed-winning mare All At Sea, making him a grandson of the high-class Albanova. A highly encouraging start for the Dubawi colt justifying favouritism first time out, he looks a promising prospect who should improve for the experience.

Second to take to the winners’ enclosure for the team was GOOD HUMOR in the recognisable Barnett colours. Partnered today under Jack Mitchell, Good Humor coped very well with the drop back in trip to seven furlongs, having done too much too soon last time out over one mile. Hitting the front in the home straight, he saw off a challenge from George Scott trained Shoot To Kill, who came baring down in the closing stages. Good Humor held on to put the race to bed in a determined fashion.

Congratulations to Robert Barnett and partner, the jockey’s and all the team at the track and at home for continuing to produce horses on flying form this season.
