Still basking in the success of ELDAR ELDAROV at Royal Ascot last week, today was a thrilling boost for the books with a treble of wins combined with a 50% strike rate, with three of our six runners landing the spoils in their respective contests.

ASAASSI was the first off the mark coming back from a 189 day break he made a good impression in the Radcliffe & Co British EBF Maiden Stakes at Salisbury, justifying market favouritism under the in-form Andrea Atzeni. Placed twice over one mile at Kempton last year, the son of Sea The Moon suited the step up in trip, getting on top when it mattered to score the spoils for owner Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum.

FIRST OFFICER followed suit and also benefitted from a step up in trip to 1m4f the Galileo colt put in a smart performance in the Showcasing Standing At Whitsbury Manor Bibury Cup Handicap for the Coolmore team. Settling in a strong second position and responding well when pressed to take up the running over one furlong out. Proving once again the market had him backed correctly as he cruised to the line to secure the double on the day for the team and a treble for Andrea Atzeni across the card at Salisbury.

Merry Fox Stud’s aptly named THREE PREISTS rounded up the day’s success with an emphatic win in the Cazoo Novice Stakes at Bath. The three-year-old daughter of Deep Impact put in a devastating turn of foot down the home straight to hit the line an easy five lengths ahead of the runner up ICE HOUSE from the William Haggas yard.

Many congratulations to all our owners. A fantastic day of racing for the team and all involved.
