The daughter of Iffraaj made a promising start to her career when third to subsquent Group 1 second Irish Rookie at Newmarket last October before refusing to enter the stalls at Kempton shortly after.

Gary Witherford and his team have done a great job and she entered the stalls without question yesterday evening. Jockey Andrea Atzeni tracked the pace and was well positioned to strike when they entered the straight.

She took a little while to overcome the runner-up Blond Me but was on top at the line, winning by a neck.

Roger said: "Tazffin has plenty of talent but plenty of temperament to go with it. The team have done a good job on the stalls and she ultimately did it well. A more conventional track and ten furlongs will suit."
