Starlight Time showed an explosive turn of foot to get his first win of the season, with the drop down to 1m suiting him well

Held up towards the rear, the son of Time Test had all but one rival to pass in the final two furlongs. It was a confident ride from Robbie Downey and the pair shot down the far rail to hit the line a neck in front. 

A dual winner last year as a juvenile, Starlight Time has always shown a nice level of ability and it's great to see him back in the winners' enclosure tonight. Enormous credit has to go to his work rider Rebecca Edman for the patience and dedication she has shown him to help get him there.
