Winning form continues for SOUND ANGELA who won with plenty in hand today at Lingfield, putting the race to bed in an impressive fashion under French jockey Jefferson Smith.

A dwelt start from stall two meant SOUND ANGELA left herself enough to do if she was to maintain her winning streak after her victory at  Kempton last time out. French jockey Jefferson Smith, did well to pilot the filly through the field, switching right and making headway over one furlong out. When pressed SOUND ANGELA responded with a striking turn of foot, powerfully moving up the outside to hit the front in the closing stages. Cruising to the line to claim the prize going away in the Play Coral Racing-Super-Series For Free/EBF Restricted Novice Stakes.

Congratulations once again to winning owners Yuichi Masuda and connections. Another stand out performance from the Muhaarar filly, who justified favouritism today despite shouldering a seven pound penalty. Making it two from three, we look forward to what more this classy filly can go on to show on the track.
