SONNERIE POWER returns from a break and soars back to form, with a taking victory on the Kempton all-weather.

The four-year-old son of Almanzor hit the frame a few times earlier this season, but he bounced back to his best this evening following a 96-day absence from the track. He raced towards the rear of the 12-strong field for most of the 1m4f contest, under a confident ride from David Egan. As the 2f marker loomed David made his move, switching SONNERIE POWER to the nearside where he powered down towards the line, to pass the post a comfortable 1½L ahead of Red Flyer.

Congratulations to King Power Racing, who's Varian Stable-trained horses have been in superb form as of late!
