The daughter of Pivotal, owned by Sheikh Mohammed Obaid, travelled well throughout before quickening clear in the hands of Jack Mitchell to win by six lenghts.

Jack tracked the leading pair throughtout the early stages and Sharja Queen relaxed into a good rhythm. She showed a smart turn of foot to put the race to bed with two furlongs to run and powered clear to win easilly.

Roger said: "Sharja Queen was very impressive. Shas handled the fast ground well and showed a good turn of foot. She looks a Stakes filly on this evidence and we shall look to get her some 'black type'."
