SEVEN POCKETS continued the yard's good run of form with a first success in the Betway Novice Stakes at Wolverhampton on Monday evening.

A lightly raced 5YO, SEVEN POCKETS was making only his third career start, and gained a comfortable first success when staying on nicely for the in-form Jack Mitchell to defeat newcomer FIGURES by two and three quarter lengths. An imposing son of Frankel out of star Japanese mare Vodka, it will be interesting to see how much more Seven Pockets has to offer and hopefully he can continue to progress with his maiden victory now secured.

Many congratulations to winning owner Hanako Varian and everyone in the yard as Seven Pockets made it three winners in a row for the team following victories for Tyrrhenian Sea and La Tihaty at the weekend.
