The highly progressive four-year old notches his first Group win in the £95,000 Rose of Lancaster Stakes and earns a hat-trick in the process

The son of Frankel has relished the step up to 1m2f this season and shapes as if the best is still yet to come over this trip. He arrived at Haydock in career-best form after winning at Sandown last time out at Listed level and dominating the competitive 'Nifty 50' Handicap at Epsom on Oaks Day the time before. 

Four runners went to post and Sallaal raced in the middle of quartet throughout. He was travelling very comfortably in the homestraight and jockey Ray Dawson was yet to ask anything from him at the two furlong marker. He had plenty still left in the tank when he did come off the bridle and hit the line drawing clear.
