LEUVEN POWER is back to winning ways putting in a convincing performance in the sunshine at Salisbury this afternoon. Cruising to the line in style to land the spoils in the Michael Brunton Memorial Pembroke Handicap in the hands of Andrea Atzeni.

A pleasing run for the three-year-old chestnut colt LEUVEN POWER, who clearly relished the step up in trip to 1m. Settling towards the rear in the initial stages LEUVEN POWER made head way from three furlongs out ensuring he was always in touch with the leaders. Atzeni asked for more at the two-furlong marker and the colt responded in a striking fashion, accelerating powerfully away to hit the line an impressive six and a half furlongs ahead of runner up Be Lucky My Son from the Ralph Beckett yard.

Congratulations to winning owners King Power Racing Co, an impressive feat to be their 250th winner. Their son of Coltai Glory justified favouritism in style this afternoon and we look forward to seeing what the rest of this season has in hold.
