It was an impressive debut performance from Raneem who showed a game attitude to get the better of a field full of more experienced rivals
The Shadwell homebred was given a patient ride from jockey Ray Dawson and the pair raced towards the rear of the field gradually making headway at the three-furlong marker. Raneem hit the front with a furlong to go but had to show a tenacious attitude to keep on finding when challenged all the way to the line.
A three-year-old daughter of Frankel she is the third foal out of the multiple stakes-placed mare Ettisaal. Congratulations to owner/ breeder Shadwell, regular rider Kerry Bennett & groom Shankar Singh.
