Poole Bay showed a professional attitude and quickened up nicely under jockey Ray Dawson to win first time out

The 2yo son of New Bay is a three-parts sibling to American Gr.2 winner Idea Generation and was purchased from Book 1 last October for 120,000Gns. Poole Bay broke well and raced towards the near side of the field in touch with the leaders, he settled into a lovely rhythm and showed a professional attitude throughout. When approaching the two furlong marker he had plenty of room in front to accelerate into and looked very smart as he hit the line drawing clear.
