PEEL PARK quickens away to get his career off the mark at Yarmouth and LITTLE DORRIT improves nicely from debut at Chelmsford.
Two-year-old Mehmas colt PEEL PARK has shown promise on his two starts to date, most recently 3rd over 6½f at Newbury earlier this month. He took another pleasing step forwards today at Yarmouth and we were delighted to see him notch a first career success. Racing over 6f, PEEL PARK broke from stall 6 and took up position on the inside rail under Ryan Moore. 1f from home and the contest looked wide open, but PEEL PARK showed a smart turn of foot to quicken away in the run to the line, finishing 1¼L ahead of High Approval.
Congratulations to Mr Paul Smith.

The son of Mehmas has bumped into some exciting types in two starts to date but makes it third time lucky with an improved performance for the in-form @varianstable! pic.twitter.com/o7h2lsnkDR
At Chelmsford we saw three-year-old LITTLE DORRIT make a marked improvement from her debut run at Ascot in May. Switching to the AW, the three-year-old Camelot filly travelled sweetly in midfield under Ray Dawson and ran on strongly in the home straight, pulling away from the field with ease to win the 1m3f contest by 3¼L.
Congratulations to owner/breeders Chasemore Farm.
Little Dorrit's victory marked a double on the day, and a fifth consecutive win for the yard! #Winningstreak
LITTLE DORRIT progresses nicely from debut, flying home under @Raydawson101 at @ChelmsfordCRC to shed her maiden at just the second attempt 🥇
