Odogwu made all to land his Novice in fine fashion

Odogwu made his debut in a competitive Novice back in May where he finished a respectable fifth in a race that has thrown up some creditable form since. 

The three-year-old Earthlight colt appears to have learnt a lot from that debut run as he returned a four-length winner at Salisbury this evening. Once the stalls opened, Odogwu pushed forward and set the pace under jockey Finley Marsh. The pair had a two-length advantage coming up to the one furlong marker and kept drawing clear in the closing stages.
