Sheikh Hamdan's son of Distorted Humor was a promising fourth at Ascot on debut and he stepped up on that to win decisively under Graham Lee.

He travelled smoothly in behind runners before switching to the outside to tackle the favourite Game Pie with two furlongs to go.

He soon had the best of that rival and went on to score going away by two and a half lengths.

Roger said: "Muqtaser is a lovely prospect for next year. He was doing his best work towards the end and looks a good prospect for middle distance handicaps next year."
