Altyn Orda carried the colours of Nurlan Bizakov to success in the corresponding renewal of the race twelve months’ ago, causing something of a surprise when making a sustained bid under the stand-side rail, and Mot Juste will try to repeat the dose in the colours of Robert Barnett having earned her place in the line-up with a seven-length rout at Beverley last month.

An intriguing field of eight fillies have been declared to go to post, including exciting first-time-out winners Hidden Message and Frosty, the latter being an own-sister to the outstanding Winter, and Mot Juste will break from stall seven under William Buick.

Roger said: “Mot Juste only won an ordinary novice at Beverley, but she couldn’t have been any more impressive and she deserves to take her chance in something better. She ran well on the July Course first time out and she relishes top of the ground, so I hope we don’t get too much more rain. She holds live claims in what appears an open renewal.”
