The Jon Shack-owned Fool To Cry made light work of her rivals to win the 1m2f Claimer at Windsor. The daughter of Fast Company won by a length and three quarters under Andrea Atzeni and went on to be claimed for £12,000 by trainer Neil Mulholland.

Later in the evening Shargiah put up a likable display to win the mile maiden at Ripon. The son of New Approach, owned by Saif Ali, travelled smoothly throughout before showing a good attitude to squeeze through a gap on the rail to get up and win by a length.

Roger said: "Fool To Cry is sweet filly and I was pleased she has won again. I would like to wish her new connections the best of luck with her.

"Shargiah is an improving three-year-old who has stepped up with each run to date. He is a good-looking colt who should continue to progress."
