The lightly raced MOBADRA gets on top at the line to land the spoils in the Havana Club Handicap at Chelmsford.

A ready winner last time out back in November at Kempton, the OASIS DREAM filly returned to the track after a 251 day break in no uncertain terms this evening. Partnered today with the experienced Andrea Atzeni they broke well and took cover behind the leaders in the early stages. Turning into the home straight Atzeni made his move, peeling off down the centre of the track the 4YO filly put in a strong challenge, picking up when it mattered and hitting the front in the final yards. Keeping on well she won going away as she crossed the line.

Congratulations to Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum and connections. It is pleasing to see MOBADRA clearly benefitted from the break and continued her winning ways. She looks a nice type and we look forward to seeing what more the filly can go on to do this season.
