Mindurownbusiness ran out an easy winner of the 1m conditions event for owners Alan and Michael Spence. The son of Cape Cross never came out of second gear to win in the hands of Jim Crowley by an eased down three lengths.

Roger said: "That was very impressive. He has beaten some useful horses easily and still looks like a horse on the up. That should put him spot on for Good Friday and he will go straight there."

Appeared was our first runner for owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid and it was great to see him get the job done in the 1m2f maiden under Andrea Atzeni.

He was forced to make much of the running from a wide draw and showed signs of greenness throughout. He was challenged in the closing stages by both Faiseur De Miracle and Sarmadee but stayed on well to win by half a length.

Roger added: "They didn't make life easy for Appeared. He was pushed wide early and then had to make his own running and was green. I was pleased with how he knuckled down up the straight and there should be plenty more to come from him on turf."
