Kratos found one too good on his debut over course and distance a fortnight ago, but he showed a very professional attitude that day and he has thrived since that run.

Jack Mitchell kept things simple on this handsome son of Equiano; popping out in front and leading the field on the stand side through the first part of the race. He was being stalked by his market rivals Quest For Fun and Tributo, but Kratos travelled much the best and responded well for pressure to hold off the very strong challenge of Quest For Fun who stretched him all the way to the line with three lengths back to the third.

Kratos is the third individual winner for Varian Racing this season from four runners. He joins Imperial Yellow and Famille Rose who both graced the winner's enclosure earlier in the year.

We do have a limited number of shares still available in Kratos so if you hurry you might have a chance to get involved!
