Kokbastau continues on his upward trajectory and showed a game attitude to get his head in front for a hat-trick

With four in a row heading into the final furlong, Kokbastau was short of room in behind the leaders and had to be patient in waiting for the gap to appear. When jockey Ray Dawson was finally able to squeeze him through, he made good use of Kokbastau's surplus stamina down in trip and the pair were able to get their head in front on the line.

An imposing son of Wootton Bassett, the three-year-old shapes as if he has plenty of progression still to come and a step up to Stakes company could be on the cards.
