KIND GESTURE has already struck once this season at Wetherby, and she showed that experience had not been lost on her when cruising home fully ten lengths clear of her pursuers in the mile novice. David Egan quickly went clear on the daughter of Decorated Knight, and she proved a class apart. Life will probably get tougher from now on, but it is exciting to see what else she can achieve for owner Prince A A Faisal.

Our other winner at Windsor was not by such a wide margin, as LOVE TROPHY POWER dug deep to secure a first career win in the six furlong fillies' novice. The daughter of Bated Breath had been placed on her four previous starts, and showed great tenacity to hold off Ischia by a short head with David Egan again in the saddle. Congratulations to owners King Power Racing and hopefully she can find another opportunity now she has got her head in front.

On Saturday, our winner came on the Roodee, as ZAINALARAB defied a penalty and a wide draw to make it two wins from three starts at Chester. Successful at Salisbury previously, the son of Wootton Bassett never looked in too much trouble despite being drawn ten of ten for the seven and a half furlong novice. He came home by a comfortable length and a quarter under Dane O'Neill for owners Shadwell Estate, and hopefully still has more to offer moving forward.
