The Iffraaj gelding broke his duck in a 7f maiden at Chepstow under Neil Callan and, although he was sent off an odds-on favourite, he had to fight for it.

Having been drawn in 16 of 16 Neil raced alone for the early part of the race before joining the pack at half way. He struck the front but was headed by Peak Storm.

Keyaadi, under strong pressure from Neil, rallied and got back up in the shadow of the post to win by a neck.

Roger said: "He made hard work of it but has got the job done. Life is going to be tougher for him in handicaps from now on."
