Sheikh Hamdan's colt adopted a handy postion under Paul Hanagan and was always in control.

He had all his rivals under pressure with three furlongs to run before powering clear to win by eight lenghts.

A son of Dynaformer out of French 1000 Guineas winner Torrestella, Intilaaq was third on his only start at two over seven furlongs at Ascot.

Roger said: "He looked promising at home and we always liked him. It was nice to see him go so well. He was one of our maidens near the top of the list. He is a promising colt and I will have to speak to Sheikh Hamdan and his team before making plans for him."
