Influential gets off the mark at Kempton and adds to his strong all-weather record

The return to a synthetic surface proved favourable for INFLUENTIAL as the lightly raced four-year-old takes his record to 1-2-2 on the all weather. Pressed on the heels of the leader throughout, the son of Wootton Bassett accelerated clear in the final furlong to win by a neck providing Ray Dawson with his fourth Varian-trained winner in 6 days.
