IMPERIAL QUARTER readily sheds her maiden tag at just the second attempt, posting a comfortable victory at Carlisle Racecourse.

The three-year-old daughter of Dubawi made her racecourse debut just last month, and was sent off as favourite in today's 1m1f Novice contest. Jockey Ben Curtis settled her to race in third place in the opening stages, allowing her to ease forward to shadow leader Kintaro as they came to the downhill run. 3F from home, IMPERIAL QUARTER made her move - cruising up to take the lead and running on well to seal the deal comfortably, nearly 4L the better of Man Of Monaco.

Congratulations to owner Ali Saeed.
