The son of Oasis Dream, owned by Sheikh Hamdan, has stepped up with each run to date and won in convincing fashion unde Dane O'Neill.

He was slowly away and settled at the rear of the field. The leader Alasaal set a decent tempo up front allowing Dane to take his time and move up with two furlongs to run.

Almohtaseb hit the front at the furlong pole and motored clear to win by seven lengths.

Roger said: "Almohtaseb ran well at Salisbury last time out and was entilted to win this well. He hit the line strong and a mile should be well within his compass."
