The 230,000gns breeze-up purchase returns a comfortable winner as he powers clear to win his Novice in style under jockey Jack Mitchell

Hayate showed promised on debut when he finished a staying on third at Newmarket back in July. Going even better this afternoon, the two-year-old Mehmas colt had an electric turn of foot in the homestrait and was able to hunt down the three rivals ahead to win going away.

Hayate is off the mark on just his second start and looks to have a bright future ahead!

We are delighted to provide owners Sanshisuimei Co Ltd with their first UK winner! Congratulations are also in order to regular rider Ash Bipindra & groom Ivo Slatcha.
