FOX AVATAR kicks of July with a win, as he cruises home to win comfortably at Chelmsford.

The four-year-old Frankel gelding jumped from stall 4 of the 8-runner strong field and travelled easily in midfield under the ride of Silvestre de Sousa. He faced a challenge to get through at the top of the home straight, leaving him with plenty to do in the final half furlong but he responded gamely when the gap came, quickening away to win by 1¼l ahead of Tribal Wisdom.
