Title impresses at Yarmouth to land the spoils in the QuinnBet Maiden Stakes.

It was a deserved win for TITLE, having been an unlucky 2nd in both his previous starts at Newbury. Today he knuckled down and pulled off a smart performance to score, and in doing so gets off the mark at the 3rd time of asking under the talented David Egan. Breaking well from stall 3 Egan had the Camelot colt well placed, remaining in touch with the leaders with Sea Karats, from the William Haggas yard, who set the pace in the early strides. Title travelled well over the course and distance, making smooth headway over the 3F out. Turning into the home straight Egan pressed and Title responded with a striking turn of foot, challenging the lead currently held by Sea Karats. The two pulled clear from the rest of the field and battled it out to the line in a thrilling duel. On this occasion it was Title whose fortune had changed, landing the spoils, putting Sea Karats away by 1 ¾ L lead.

Congratulations to Highclere Racing for another successful day, following on from Ascension on the 15th at Newbury. It was a notably strong performance from the 3YO, who travelled powerfully throughout. We look forward to seeing what more this son of Camelot can show as he progresses to handicap company.
