ZENGA gets off the mark at the third attempt in the KMB Shipping Group Fillies' Novice Stakes at Wolverhampton. A second winner came only sixty minutes later, with our own Varian Racing VI’s PRISM, who bounced back from her previous run to score easily under the red hot Jack Mitchell in the Talbots Law Handicap.

Taking a step up in trip this time out played in ZENGA’s favour this afternoon, taking third place on her last appearance at Goodwood, this time she did enough to get off the mark at the third attempt. Partnered today with Ray Dawson the Lope de Vega filly showed a striking turn of foot up the home straight, defying any challenge and cruising to the line a comfortable 4 and ¾ lengths ahead of the nearest contender TEAGARDEN JAZZ in second. Our very own VARIAN RACING VI syndicate PRISM was next to score under the in-form Jack Mitchell. Back amongst filly’s and a move up in trip also for the three-year-old daughter of Fast Company, she clearly relished the new surface and put in an assertive performance, reeling back the leader off the home turn and getting on top in style at the finish to make is a fourth consecutive win for the stables. Well done to the Varian Racing VI members who were thrilled to see PRISM back to her winning ways.
