Father Of Jazz justifies why he was odds on favourite by scoring an impressive win in the Racing Welfare Novice Stakes.

The Kingman colt continued his winning form, following on from his last run in Wolverhampton at the end of December. Having run keenly early on in the race Callum Shephard had Father of Jazz poised in a good position on the outside of the leaders and at the two-furlong marker proceeded to cruise through to take the lead, accelerating well clear of the rest of the field to claim the win, with a bit in hand, for the Gredley team.

Father of Jazz, is proving the stamina in his pedigree, half-brother to a two-time winner over hurdles, and second foal out of the Galileo mare Bark. This Kingman colt has kicked off his four-year-old season with a promising start, and we are excited to see what the rest of the season has in store.
