Sri Putra had almost become part of the furniture here at Kremlin House having arrived as a yearling back in the autumn of 2007.

A son of Oasis Dream, he has been a star for owner HRH Sultan Ahmad Shah and given us all many happy days. He was a winner five times at Stakes level with victories in the York Stakes (G2), Prix Guillame D'Ornano (G2), Solario Stakes (G3), Earl of Sefton Stakes (G3) and Paradise Stakes (L).

He was also placed in Group 1 company three times including when a fast-finishing second to Twice Over in the 2010 renewal of the Coral Eclipse at Sandown.

Having failed to fire on the racetrack this season it was decided that he should be retired and he has now embarked on a stud career as a stallion at Haras du Saz in France.

We also bid farewell to Mijhaar, who is set to change codes and is going into training with John Ferguson, and to October Stakes heroine Tantshi, who will be an exciting recruit to Sheikh Ahmed's band of broodmares at Darley.

Yard favourite Yarroom along with multiple winners Ashaadd, Kohlaan and Tajheez have headed to pastures new in Dubai. We look forward to seeing them in action at Meydan this winter.

As is always the case at this time of year, it is out with the old and in with the new. The team are busy breaking in yearlings and pictures of this process will be coming soon...
