Enfjaar will bid to write his name in the history books in the early hours of Tuesday morning as he takes his chance in the 2026 Melbourne Cup.

The six-year-old son of Lope De Vega booked his spot in the highly valuable Caulfield Cup with an all-the-way success in the Glorious Stakes at Goodwood and having finished a hugely creditable third at Caulfield, he will now take his chance in the 'race that stops a nation' at Melbourne.
Enfjaar, who is set to be ridden by regular rider Ray Dawson once more on his first attempt at two miles, will take on a competitive line-up featuring the former John and Thady Gosden-trained inmate Point Of Law, as well as Joseph O'Brien's fellow Goodwood winner Defiantly and stablemate Trustyourinstinct.
Good luck to owners Mr T & L Standish and Mrs A Spence.
