A royally strong double of victories as ALIF POWER and VOODOO QUEEN score in their respective contests this afternoon.

King Power’s ALIF POWER was first off the mark at Pontefract following a smart ride from Jefferson Smith in the Peter Chamberlain Memorial Nursery Stakes Handicap. A much improved performance from his previous run back in June at Yarmouth. The 2YO son of El Kabeir clearly benefitted from the run relishing a faster surface to put in a decisive win this afternoon.

The 3YO filly of Merry Fox Stud, VOODOO QUEEN, followed suit with an impressive performance in her handicap debut at Newmarket. A pleasing performance following her maiden win back in April, the well bred daughter of Frankel showed another bought of improvement to score in the Bet At Racing TV Fillies Handicap under David Egan.

Congratulations to all winning connections. A smart double on the day and we hope both horses continue on this upward trajectory this season.
