CLASSIC TIMES cruises to a facile victory on handicap debut at Sandown.

The three-year-old Lope De Vega filly has hit the frame on her last two starts, but she sparkled today on handicap debut. David Egan had her handily positioned throughout the 1m contest, and she made it look all to easy when sent for home 1f out - cruising away from the field for a dominant 5½l win.

Her pedigree certainly offers plenty of promise, being a daughter of SUNDAY TIMES and thus a full sister to the Grade 1-winning NEWSPAPEROFRECORD.

Congratulations to owner/breeder Allan Belshaw.
