The son of Galileo chased home Michelangelo at Newmarket last time and he returned to winning ways with minimal fuss this evening.

Having made the early running, Neil Callan was content to take a lead when Jamie Spencer took over on Ottoman Empire.

Cameron Highland was full of running with two furlongs to go and eased into the lead. He was pushed out to win by four and a half lengths.

Roger said: "He is a progressive horse who hasn't done anything wrong. He likes fast ground and hopefully he can continue to improve."

At Ffos Las, Ittirad failed by just a short head to give us a double in the 1m4f handicap.
