HRH Sultan Ahmad Shah's colt was a winner in Dubai back in February and ran with credit on his domestic return in the Princess Of Wales's Stakes at Newmarket last month.

He has been working nicely at home and appears in good shape ahead of this Group 3 prize.

Roger said: "I have been very pleased with Battersea. His work has been good and he looks to be in great condition. The trip and fast ground should be ideal and we hope he can be very competitive."

Certificate has been decalred for a 7f handicap at Doncaster. The Cheveley Park Stud-owned gelding had a productive winter on the all-weather and ran well at Newcastle last time out.

Roger added: "Certificate appears in good form and should run well in what looks a competitive race."
