A former head lad with Godolphin, TJ has been an important member of the Varian Stable team for the previous three years and he will now fill the role of assistant trainer as we look forward to a successful 2017.
Australian-born Will leaves the team to after two years in Newmarket having arrived here in 2015 to fill the role of pupil assistant before progressing to the position of assistant trainer last season.
Roger said: “I am delighted TJ has agreed to take up the role as assistant trainer. He brings a wealth of experience to the table and is a highly-regarded member of the team. I am sure he will excel in his new position.
“That said, I am very sorry to see Will go. He has been an integral part of the training operation for the last two seasons and he has undoubtedly helped the stable progress.
“Will is knowledgeable, hardworking and passionate and he will no doubt excel in the next stage of his career. We wish him the very best of luck.”
