The daughter of Danehill Dancer is a full-sister to Royal Hunt Cup winner Fogotten Voice among others so this win will have added considerable value to her as a breeding prospect.

She was stepping up to a mile and a quarter having shown promise over a mile when fourth on her debut at Goodwood last month.

Jockey Andrea Atzeni was well-drawn and soon dictated matters from the front aboard Ardingly. He set steady fractions before kicking off the final bend.

She was immediately joined by Godolphin's Controversy and the pair were neck and neck throughout the final furlong. As the passed the line it looked too close to call and this was indeed the case with the judge soon declaring a dead-heat.

Roger said: "It is always important to win with these well-bred fillies and she has been very game all the way to the line."
