After being off the track for almost a year, Antipodes returns to Windsor and makes it back-to-back wins over the same course and distance
Progressive last year, Antipodes rounded his three-year-old season off by winning a competitive Maiden over 1M at Windsor. The son of Starspangledbanner enjoyed the return to course and distance for his four-year-old debut and notched back-to-back wins nearly a year apart.
Antipodes broke well under jockey Ray Dawson and the pair got into a lovely rhythm racing in second before moving upsides the leader, Asmen Warrior, two-furlongs out. Asmen Warrior threw down a challenge all the way to the line and Antipodes showed a tenacious attitude to win the battle by a head.
Congratulations to owners Highclere (The Eagle syndicate) and regular rider / groom Shankar Singh.
He loves it at @WindsorRaces!
