ANTIPODES steps forward again to get off the mark at the third attempt, storming home at Windsor under a lovely ride from Ray Dawson.
The three-year-old Starspangledbanner colt showed improvement from his debut to just be denied at Nottingham last time out and he duly jumped forward again this afternoon to go one better and shed his maiden tag. Breaking from stall one, Antipodes settled on the rail in the shadow of the leaders, led by Haggas' Headmaster. As they came around the turn for home, Ray edged Antipodes out and opened him up down the centre of the track, with Antipodes responding gamely to storm home - heading Headmaster in the final 110 yards with the pair drawing clear.
Congratulations to Highclere Racing and connections!
Gutsy!

The @varianstable-trained Antipodes shows real signs of progression, storming up the centre of the track to thwart Headmaster under @Raydawson101!
Keep an eye on Bella's Path, who passed plenty of runners from the back to catch the eye in fourth... pic.twitter.com/KWglFQvyT2
