An exciting start to Cazoo Debry week with two impressive winners for the team this afternoon. With simultaneous post times, BOLT ACTION proved to be a promising juvenile colt winning on debut at Leicester, while ENFORCED battled on to break his maiden at Brighton.

As his name implies, BOLT ACTION did exactly that on debut at Leicester this afternoon. The son of first-crop sire Kessar was well positioned, tracking the leaders early in the five furlong sprint. Inside the final two furlongs, jockey David Egan shifted the juvenile colt out for clear running room and displayed a striking turn of foot hitting the line four lengths ahead of his nearest rival, market favourite NEW DEFINITION.

BOLT ACTION was a 160,000 purchase by Oliver St. Lawrence Bloodstock from the Goffs UK Breeze-Up sale. Congratulations to winning owners Victorious Racing and Fawzi Nass as they look to have an exciting 2 year old prospect.

Third time was a charm for ENFORCED as the son of Zoffany fought on for a thrilling win at Brighton, a notable step up in performance since his seasonal debut run at Goodwood 31 days earlier. With Andrea Atzeni aboard, ENFORCED comfortably tracked the leader over the beginning stages of the mile trip. When closing in on the three furlong marker, Atzeni navigated the gelding outside of the leader, DIAMOND RANGER and made his challenge, a closely run duel unfolded until the wire. In the final few strides, ENFORCED crossing the finish line first by a neck, defying the favourite DIAMOND RANGER who had to settle for runner up spot.

Congratulations to Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum and connections. We hope the yards form continues this week as we look ahead to Saturday with Prince A A Faisal’s EYDON set to run in the Cazoo Derby at Epsom.
