Progressive four-year-old filly AL HUSN secure Listed success in the hands of Jim Crowley in the Rothesay Stakes at Ayr Racecourse.
Second in the G2 Dahlia Stakes at Newmarket on her previous start, the Shadwell Stud homebred set off as race favourite and duly delivered. Nicely positioned under the expert guidance of Jim Crowley, she responded gamely to a flick 2f from home and skipped on to take the lead from Crystal Caprice, staying on for a comfortable victory in the 1m2f feature contest.
This marks a third win in the race for Varian Stable since 2017, as AL HUSN joins SHENANIGANS and NEZWAAH on the roll of honour.
