AIMERIC makes a pleasing seasonal reappearance, cruising home under James Doyle to win by a comfortable margin.

The five-year-old son of Frankel rounded off his 2023 season with a victory in the Silver Cup Handicap at Beverley last September, and he got his 2024 campaign off to the perfect start this afternoon at Lingfield. Racing in touch with leaders through the opening stages of the class 2 handicap contest, he cruised on to take up the lead 1f from home and won going away.
