The son of Cape Cross made all when he got off the mark at Windsor a fortnight ago and jockey Harry Bentely seized the initiative again today.

He set perfect fractions in front, gradually upping the tempo until all his rivals were flat to the boards with two furlongs to run.

Harry pushed Absolute Zero clear and he went on to win eased down by three lengths.

Roger said: "Absolute Zero has thrived since he was upped in trip and he is a three-year-old going in the right direction."
