ABSOLUTE STAR opens her account on turf debut at Doncaster in the hands of Jack Mitchell, to continue the strong stable form.

The four-year-old daughter of Dark Angel has been lightly raced to date and was returning to the course after a 212 day absence this afternoon. But she delivered a likeable performance under Jack Mitchell, digging deep to record a first career success. Racing over 1m, Absolute Star travelled in touch with leaders and made smooth headway in pursuit of Cancan In The Rain 2f from home. As they passed the furlong pole a head to head battle ensued but it was Absolute Star who came out on top, staying on to prevail by 1½.

Congratulations to owner/breeders Apple Tree Stud.
