The board of runners got off to a good start with a terrific winning debut by RIZG at Yarmouth, under the talented Hollie Doyle. Followed shortly after by AQUAMAN, who got up in the closing stages to land the Watch Racing TV Handicap completing an impressive double on the day.

An exciting racing career start for the No Nay Never colt RIZG, who proved himself in an impressive fashion on the track today. Despite an element of greenness, he was partnered with the highly skilled Hollie Doyle whose experience was the perfect pairing for the colt’s debut performance. Doyle ensured Rizg was well positioned and always in touch with the leaders, when asked for more Rizg responded well with a striking turn of foot, powering through to take the lead one furlong out. Rizg continued to run on well under pressure, pushed out comfortably to score and in doing so denied the favourite Dig Two from the Hugo Palmer yard ½ L behind in second.

Congratulations to Mr Imad Al Sagar and connections and Hollie Doyle for the performance. A half-brother to GB/HK 1 mile Flagship Glory out of a 7F winner, Rizg had all the makings of the champion on the track and he certainly created a favourable impression on debut. We look forward to seeing what more this No Nay Never colt has to offer.

AQUAMAN followed soon after with a stylish performance in the Watch Racing TV Handicap at Redcar. Having been runner-up on his previous two runs, it was a result well deserved for the 3YO colt by Kodiac. Ridden today by the experienced Andrea Atzeni, it all came together in the closing stages to produce the desired winning result. Atzeni judged the race well and managed to contain Aquaman, making a challenge at the two furlong marker and moving through to take the lead inside the final furlong. Aquaman continued to run on strongly, seeing the race out well to land the spoils one length ahead of Scottish Summit in second.

Congratulations to Sheikh Mohammed Obaid and connections. This horse has shown his versatility in terms of ground and his season has been an impressive one. A successful day for the team as Aquaman completes the double on the day.
